Description : The flower is a cyathium; composed of a single female flower surrounded by 3 male flowers, borne solitary, paired or in small umbels from the leaf axils on new shoots. Fruit is a 3-lobed ovoid, fleshy smooth schizocarp. Leaves are bright to dull green, simple, spirally arranged at the tops of the stems obovate to spoon shaped, succulent, rounded with a sharp tip and smooth margins.
