Flowers are individually inconspicuous, waxy, cup-shaped, borne axillary in large clusters at the branch ends. Fruit is a pubescent, ovoid follicle, filled with a cottony seed mass. Leaves are grey-green, covered w/ a fine, white woolly pubescence. They are simple, opposite, broadly ovate-obovate, thick, and fleshy. The leaf has prominent pale ribs and raised veins below.
